Home of George B. Bothwell (1824-1907)

George Bothwell rode horseback across much of north Missouri searching for
suitable land for his sheep ranching operation. He bought land in Breckenridge
and Mooresville Townships. His home, pictured here, was in Section 26 of
Breckenridge Twp., about 3 1/2 miles southeast of town in the Wolf Grove
neighborhood.
