Breckenridge Street Fair

The Street Fair generally started on Thursday or Friday and lasted at least three days. It included parades, carnivals, contests, bands and dances. Schools for miles around dismissed classes when the fair was in session. The Breckenridge Street Fair was regarded by many as the entertainment highlight of the year. Thanks to Gerald Hargrave of Wheeling, Missouri, for sharing these photos! He found the photos in his grandfather's personal items, in a folder marked "1915."
