Tracy Abigail Maddux was born and raised in the Highland neighborhood of
Mooresville Township. She was a daughter of Montreville Waitman Maddux and his
wife, Elizabeth B. Lutz.
Before her marriage, Tracy was active in the Highland Christian church. She
married Breckenridge photographer Leo Moren in 1914 and assumed leadership
roles in Breckenridge church circles.
