Charles William Payne

Charles was born October 2, 1848 in Daviess Co., Missouri, several miles
north of Breckenridge. He was a son of Henry Payne and Mary Catherine Fox.
He married Sarah Catherine Hale in 1871; she died two years later. Charles
married second, Sarah Catherine Groves by whom four children were born in
Monroe Township, Daviess Co. Both Charles and his second wife died in 1921
in Breckenridge, Caldwell Co., Missouri.
