Daughters of Edward Wiley Payne
and Susan Ann Payne
They had five daughters, all born in Daviess Co., Missouri. The family left Daviess Co., moving near Medicine Lodge, Kansas, where daughter Eliza Laura was killed by Indians. The remaining four daughters, pictured here, were Mary Alice Payne (1868-1926), Estella Hampton Payne (1870-1932), Sarah Catherine Payne (1874-  ) and Lepha Susan Payne (1878-1958).
