| Thomas "Tom" Sneed (1862 - 1935) was a son of John Sneed and Malinda Walker. Tom never married. When his sister Linna Belle Sneed and her husband, Sylvester Lewis Bashford, died in the first decade of the 20th century, Tom adopted and raised the orphaned children. Tom was univerally recognized as a "nice guy." His home was near the railroad tracks, about 1/4 mile east of the Mooresville depot. |
