Emma V. Shumate

Emma Virginia Shumate was born February 24, 1864 in Livingston Co. She was a daughter of William H. Shumate and Martha Susan Hale. Emma married George W. Merritt (1856 - 1938); they lived in the Gallatin area. Both are buried in Centenary Cemetery, Daviess Co.
