Mooresville Methodist Church

The congregation of the Mooresville Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was organized in 1867. They met in the old Mooresville Presbyterian Church building until 1883.

"New Church Dedication -- Last Sunday was the occasion of the dedication of the new M. E. Church, South, at Mooresville. The day was pleasant and agreeable, and the attendance was large, many from Breckenridge and other neighboring towns being present. The church edifice, a frame structure built at a cost of $1,500, is an ornament to the town and stands a monument to the liberality of the good people of that community."   --The Breckenridge Bulletin, June 7, 1883.
