It was located on the southwest corner of Cora and Main Streets. At right
is Mr. Oswalt's son, John M. Oswalt (1887-1974). The Mooresville Mercantile Co., better known as "The Co-op," purchased this business in 1920. At left is Harmon K. Benson (1842-1925), a principal stockholder in the mercantile company. |
