Left to right -- Thomas Culver Petree, his parents Thomas G. Petree
(1856-1933) and Ida Lucinda Tomlin Petree (1858-1947). Thomas G. Petree was
an ordained Methodist minister. He preached regularly in the Mooresville
Methodist Episcopal Church, South, and occasionally conducted marriage
ceremonies. He also operated a harness and shoe repair shop in Mooresville.
This house stood on the southeast corner of Block 1, on Main Street. |
