Left to right -- Standing in rear: Peter (1869-1939), Mary Catherine (1880-1956), Martha (1875-1925). Front row: Christian Sr., Christian Antone (1883-1954), Rosahlia Bonderer Seifert (1844-1915). Christian Seifert, Sr. was born in Sevelen, St. Gallen, Switzerland. His wife, Rosahlia Bonderer, was a native of Vattis, St. Gallen, Switzerland. The Seifert farm was northeast of Mooresville in Section 10. The house and most of the outbuildings, which are still standing in 2002, were built by Christian Sr. In 2016, the buildings are in a serious state of disrepair. |
