Judge Bissell

Benjamin Bissell and his wife Sarah. He was circuit court judge in Lake County, Ohio. The 1850 census indicates he was born about 1805 in New York. These photos were taken at the Marsh Studios in Painesville, Ohio.

Lake County, Ohio, was the home of Richard Lee, Sr. (1827-1904), and George Hale Robinson (1831-1895) before they came to Livingston Co., Missouri.
