William Hambleton

Family notes are very specific -- that William Hambleton was my great grandmother's (Anna Bretland Robinson's) uncle. Presumably, he was the brother of Eleanor Hambleton Bretland Cecil. Note that Eleanor's second husband was Norrel Cecil, father of Ruth Adelia Cecil Robinson. I am, however, troubled by the notes on the back of William and Ann's photographs, using the address of "Betsy." Perhaps there was another sister.

Note also that these pictures were taken in Liverpool, England. William did not come to the United States but lived and died in England. Daddy said he was an organ builder.
