Rev. David Worchester Family

Reverend David Worchester and Parthena McCoskrie. He was born March 14, 1811, in Salem, Massachussetts.
He died January 19, 1904 in Tabor, Iowa.
Parthena, a daughter of Isaac McCoskrie and Agnes Fleming, was born August 31, 1832, in Clay Co., Missouri.
She married Rev. Worchester in Livingston Co., Missouri, in January 1854. Parthena died August 23, 1903 in Fremont Co., Iowa.

These are most of the children of David Worchester and his wife, Parthena McCoskrie. Harriett "Hattie" is on the top left. She was born
September 9, 1866 in Sidney, Nebraska. All four men at the bottom were Hattie's brothers: Benjamin, Isaac, Samuel and Leonard.
Family tradition says some hunters were following a deer when the animal ran through the open door into the family cabin. Parthena killed the deer with a skillet. |
