He was a comely child and grew into a strong, nice looking man of five feet six inches height, black hair and gray eyes. Silas stipulated in his will that Tom was to be cared for. Tom is buried next to Silas Gaunt in Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge. In 1940, Tom was a farm laborer, lodging with the family of Roy and Rose Gaunt. Parents: Samuel S.
