"It becomes our sad duty to chronicle the death of Mrs. A. Moorshead by her own hands. For more than a year she has been slightly deranged mentally and had at times manifested a desire to end her life. It was thought that she was improving during the last few months, but Wednesday evening between 5 and 6 o'clock her lifeless form was found hanging in the barn where she had tied a rope about a beam and around her neck and jumped from a manger. The Coroner's inquest was held Thursday morning. We go to press too soon to give further particulars."
